Middlesbrough cannabis farms: Five charged

Five men have been charged with drug offences after three cannabis farms were discovered.

Police said the cannabis, which had a street value of £500,000 was found during raids on houses in Appleton Road, Lambeth Road and Parliament Road in Middlesbrough.

Cleveland Police said the men have been charged with being involved in the production of a Class B drug.

They will appear before Teesside Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
