Cannabis worth £230,000 seized in Teesside raid

Cannabis with an estimated street value of £230,000 has been recovered by police on Teesside.

The haul was seized when Cleveland Police officers raided an outbuilding at Carlin Howe near Redcar.

The operation was part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of drugs in the East Cleveland area.

Five men and three women aged between 21 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs and are currently in police custody.
