Beheaded ducks found in popular Hartlepool park

Two ducks have been beheaded in what police said was a "cruel and sickening attack" in a popular Teesside park.

Officers were called to the Ward Jackson Park in Hartlepool after the remains of a beheaded duck were found on Wednesday morning.

A second duck, killed in a similar way, was discovered on Thursday morning.

Police and RSPCA officers hope CCTV footage will help them find those responsible for killing the birds.
