A man has been jailed for four years after a teenager was fatally stabbed in the street.
Samuel Morgan, 20, was convicted of possessing a knife in public following the death of 18-year-old Luke Jeffrey in March 2016.
Morgan, of Adelaide Road, Chichester, will serve four years in a young offenders institution.
He was acquitted of murdering the college student by a jury at Lewes Crown Court last year.
Mr Jeffrey, from Bognor Regis, was found with serious injuries in Alexandra Road, Chichester, and died in hospital.
He was studying to be a fitness instructor and his family paid tribute at the time of his death, calling him a "kind, caring and gentle young man".
During the sentencing hearing, Morgan was jailed a further two years for unlawful wounding in a separate knife-related attack from 2015.
The sentences will be served consecutively, totalling six years.
