Bognor motorcyclist killed in horsebox collision

A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a horsebox lorry.

Darren Arnell, 42, from Bognor Regis, in West Sussex, was killed on the A29 Bognor Road near the Sussex/Surrey border, north-west of Horsham.

His Honda CBR600 motorbike collided with an Iveco-Ford horsebox lorry at about 13:10 GMT on Sunday. Sussex Police said he died at the scene.

The female driver, 43, from Warnham, was unhurt. Two horses were left in a "distressed state", officers said.
