Teenagers arrested over Portslade car park stabbing

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a teenage boy suffered "potentially life threatening injuries" in a stabbing.

The 16-year-old was found in Abinger Road, Portslade, on Saturday at 17:15 BST. Sussex Police said he was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery.

It is believed he was stabbed in the car park of the Co-op store during a confrontation with a group of youths.

An 18-year-old man is also being held in custody on suspicion of affray.
