Body in doorway prompts Worthing murder probe

A murder investigation has started after a man was found with stab wounds in Worthing.

The man, believed to be in his 50s, was discovered lying in a doorway in Osmonde Close, Broadwater, just after 12:00 BST on Tuesday.

Officers had to break in to gain access to the body which was lying just inside the house, Sussex Police said.

Officers recovered a knife from the scene and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
