A man who died after being stabbed at a flat in Crawley was "always smiling and looking out for people", his family has said.

Sam Caulfield, 20, from Mayfield, was found at the property in Spencers Road on Saturday. He died later in hospital.

Four people arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on bail.

His family said: "Sam was a loving, loyal young man. He was passionate about fitness and health and loved his music and cooking."

They added: "He leaves behind loving parents, a daughter, a girlfriend and many close family members and friends."

Two women, aged 22 and 24, and two 20-year-old men, all from Crawley, have been bailed until 9 August, Sussex Police said.
