Eastbourne cyclist killed in collision named by police

A cyclist who died in a collision with a car in Eastbourne has been named by police.

Nigel Flux, 66, was hit by a black BMW in Victoria Drive just before 15:00 GMT on Tuesday and died at the scene.

A 47-year-old man from Eastbourne was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.

Witnesses who saw Mr Flux in a cloth cap on a mountain bike with a basket on the front are asked to contact police.
