Brighton murder suspects not charged over death

Three men arrested on suspicion of murder after a man found with head injuries died in Brighton, will not be charged over his death.

Nicholas Widgery, 26, from Newham, East London, was found in Upper Rock Gardens at about 04:20 BST on 4 July.

The three men aged 41, 28 and 25, were released without charge over the murder, Sussex Police said.

The 25-year-old man has been charged with three counts of possessing Class A, B and C drugs.

The 41-year-old was given a caution for possession of cannabis.
