Three new bin strikes in Brighton and Hove have been announced by the union representing the city's refuse and recycling truck drivers.

The GMB said its drivers would take industrial action on 16, 17 and 20 October over pay and responsibilities.

The action is part of an ongoing dispute with the city council which says it cannot meet union demands.

Three strike dates were announced last month, with two being suspended and the third going ahead.

Industrial action in 2013 saw refuse pile up on the streets.
