Brighton shop raid: £40,000 of designer clothes stolen

Designer clothes worth more than £40,000 have been stolen in a night-time "smash-and-grab" raid on a shop in Brighton.

A black Audi was used to pull the railings from the window of the men's shop Profile in Dukes Lane and the window was smashed, police said.

Two men then ran inside and grabbed designer clothes.

The raid happened at about 03:45 BST on Monday. Sussex Police is appealing for witnesses.
