Rape victim gives more detailed description of Brighton attacker

A teenager who was raped in a doorway after a night out in Brighton has given police a more detailed description of her attacker.

The 18-year-old woman was near the seafront on Tuesday between 03:30 GMT and 04:30 GMT when two men approached.

She was raped by one of them whom she described as black, 18 to 20 and wearing a black Puffa-style jacket and black NY baseball cap.

Sussex Police said the victim was at the Coalition club before the attack.

After she left the club witnesses may have seen her talking to a white man in the doorway, said Det Insp Julie Wakeford.

The assault is believed to have taken place around Middle Street, Kings Road and the southern end of West Street.
