Two more on Crawley Asian gold theft conspiracy charges

Police investigating a spate of burglaries of gold from Asian families in Sussex have charged two more people.

A 25-year-old Essex man and a 31-year-old, of no fixed address, have been charged with conspiracy to commit a burglary with intent to steal.

Five people have so far been charged as part of an investigation into more than 50 burglaries involving theft of gold in the Crawley area during 2012.

The pair have been bailed to appear in court in Crawley on 18 December.
