Pedestrian hit by bus in Bognor named as Peter Chatwin, 35

A pedestrian who died after he was hit by a bus in West Sussex has been named by police.

Peter Chatwin, 35, from Bognor, was struck by a Stagecoach vehicle in Canada Grove in the town at about 16:30 GMT on 21 November.

He was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital but died that evening.

An 83-year-old female passenger on the bus was treated for minor injuries in hospital and later discharged. Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses.
