Woman, 60, held after cyclist killed in A21 'hit and run'

A 60-year-old woman has been arrested after a cyclist died in a suspected hit and run collision in East Sussex.

Sussex Police said a car and a bicycle collided on the A21 Robertsbridge bypass shortly before 16:30 GMT.

The woman is being held on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The A21 is closed in both directions between the John's Cross Road junction and the Church Lane junction. Police said it was likely to be closed for several hours.
