Thomas Hayward killed in Little London lorry crash

A man who died when the van he was driving was involved in a head-on crash with an articulated lorry has been named by police.

Thomas Hayward, of Lowestoft, Suffolk, was killed when his Ford Fiesta van collided with a Renault lorry on the A267 at Little London on Wednesday.

The 48-year-old lorry driver was treated at hospital for a shoulder injury but later discharged.

Sussex Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact officers.
