Road closure in Ditchling for water main work

A road linking two West Sussex villages is to be closed for three weeks while a stretch of water main is replaced.

Work begins on the B2116 Keymer Road on Monday and it will be completely closed between Ditchling and Hassocks for about three weeks from 26 October.

Access to homes, businesses and a cricket club will be maintained.

South East Water said although the pipe was just 30m long it crossed Keymer Road and closing the road would be necessary.
