A man has been charged with driving while disqualified after a cyclist was killed in a crash in Sussex.

The 27-year-old woman, from Kingsfold, died at the scene, near Pulborough on the A29 on Friday night.

The 26-year-old man from Billingshurst has also been charged with driving with no insurance. He is due to appear before Worthing magistrates later.

A woman, 22, and a boy, 17, who were also arrested have been released without charge.

Sussex Police officers are appealing for witnesses, including a cyclist who was riding north on the A29 at the time and would have seen the collision.
