Mobile phones worth £25k stolen in Bognor Regis

Mobile phones worth £25,000 have been stolen from a delivery van in West Sussex.

The white Vauxhall Movano was broken into while it was parked in West Street in Bognor between 10:00 and 12:00 BST on Tuesday.

The mobile phones were thought to be part of a delivery for the 3 Store in the town, Sussex Police said.

A spokesman said police had a record of the handsets and would be able to trace any recovered phones to the theft.

He said: "Anyone who buys one of these stolen phones should bear in mind that the handsets will be confiscated by us and they will not get their money back."
