Motorcyclist banned for driving at 152mph in Sussex

A motorcyclist caught speeding at 152mph has been banned from driving for 12 months.

Stephen Tull, 37, of Liphook, in Hampshire, was caught on the A27 in West Sussex on 16 October 2011.

He was found guilty of dangerous driving at Worthing Magistrates' Court on Monday. He was given a community order and ordered to pay costs of £650.

Sussex Safer Roads Partnership said it was the highest speed ever detected in the county.
