Worth crash: Man held after Crowborough boy's death

A 13-year-old boy died when he was struck by a vehicle in West Sussex, police have said.

Emergency services were called to the B2110 in Worth at 14:00 GMT to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a Land Rover.

The boy, from Crowborough, was taken to East Surrey Hospital with serious injuries where he later died.

Sussex Police said a 62-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.

He has been bailed until 16 January.
