Sussex Police want to speak to four people about the serious assault on a 15-year-old boy in Bexhill.

Mohammed Bourner was apparently punched in De La Warr Parade, just before midnight on Friday, 28 October.

Police have released CCTV footage of two girls and two boys in MJ'Z bar in Bexhill at around 01:00 GMT on 29 October.

Police say the four, who all appear to know each other, may have vital information on the assault.

Det Ch Insp Nick Sloan, of Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team, said: "We need these four people, who all appear to know each other, to please contact Sussex Police as a matter of urgency."

One girl was blonde, the other was brunette, while one of the boys was wearing a checked shirt and one had dark rimmed spectacles.

Sussex Police said Mr Bourner remained in a critical condition at Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre with life changing injuries.
