Halloween mask robbers raid Fontwell petrol station

Two men wearing Halloween skeleton costumes smashed their way into a petrol station in West Sussex and stole the safe.

Sussex Police said the men raided the Shell Service Station in Arundel Road, Fontwell, at about 01:20 GMT on Sunday.

Officers said the men, who were wearing all-in-one skeleton costumes which covered their faces, smashed their way into the store with a concrete bollard.

They grabbed a safe, loaded it into a car and drove off towards Bognor Regis.
