Museum opens at Bluebell Railway in East Sussex

A new museum has been opened at the Bluebell Railway in East Sussex with the help of a grant of more than £2.8m from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The attraction, at Sheffield Park station, was opened by Lord Faulkner, president of the Heritage Railway Association.

The museum tells the story of the railway's history, from the battles to save the line from closure to more recent fundraising activities to allow trains to run to East Grinstead.
