Bexhill street row leaves two injured

Two people have been treated in hospital following a stabbing incident outside a house in East Sussex.

Police said the residents of a house in Jubilee Road, Bexhill, were involved in a row outside with another group of people in the early hours of Saturday.

A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A 53-year-old woman was also treated for facial injuries. A 28-year-old man has been arrested.

He is being questioned by Sussex Police on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Police want to trace other members of the group involved and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
