Police hunt owner in Brighton dog killing

Police are hunting the owner of a dog that killed another dog in Brighton.

A Staffordshire bull terrier attacked a King Charles spaniel in St John's Mount, in the Kemp Town area of the city.

Despite the efforts of the spaniel's owner and the man who was with the terrier, the dog died.

Sussex Police say the terrier was not on a lead, and its owner left without leaving any details. Despite searching the area, they could not trace him.
