Man appears in court over Bexhill murder

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a 57-year-old man whose body was found at his East Sussex flat.

Christopher Hunnisett, 27, of Chanctonbury Drive, Hastings, is accused of the murder of Peter Bick in Dorset South Road, Bexhill, on Tuesday.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Bick, a supermarket worker who lived alone, died from severe head trauma.

Mr Hunnisett was remanded in custody by Hastings magistrates. He is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday.
