Arrests over hoax calls and arson attacks in Bexhill


A man and a youth have been arrested on suspicion of making hoax calls and three arson attacks in East Sussex.

The hoax 999 calls were made from the same telephone kiosk in Bexhill during the last three weeks and related to incidents in the Sidley area.

There were also three separate arson attacks on bushes and a fence in Glovers Lane, Bexhill, between 29 October and 2 November.

The 53-year-old man and 16-year-old boy were questioned and released on bail.
