A hospital boss has condemned the vandals who stole a memorial statue in East Grinstead.
Adrian Bull, the chief executive of the Queen Victoria Hospital, said the figure of a dancing boy had been taken from its plinth.
It was one of three statues installed in the 1970s in memory of a 21-year-old woman who died in a car accident.
Mr Bull said: "I think it's disgraceful. It's a wanton act of vandalism."
