Sussex businessman grants wish of dying boy's family
The parents of a terminally ill Sussex boy have been able to move closer to their family after a man offered help.
Kieran Browning, six, has an inoperable aggressive brain tumour and doctors estimate that he has months to live.
His parents Nick and Vickie wanted to move from Hastings to be closer to extended family in Eastbourne but were told there was no available housing.
Local businessman Colin Holloway heard about their plight and paid six months rent on a house in the town.
The family said they were grateful to Mr Holloway, who had "literally made our biggest wish come true".
They had wanted to move to Eastbourne to enable them to get vital family support and had been waiting on the housing list since Kieran's illness was diagnosed last December.
Eastbourne Borough Council had said the family were a high priority but there was an an acute accommodation shortage.
