Whyteleafe collision: Three teenagers hit by car at bus stop

Three teenagers have been hurt after a car mounted the pavement and struck them at a bus stop.

The driver of a black Hyundai is assisting police with inquiries after the incident in Whyteleafe, Surrey, on Friday afternoon.

The collision happened at about 15:40 GMT, on Godstone Road, opposite a BP garage, Surrey Police said.

Two of the teenagers were treated at the scene by paramedics and one was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Sgt Geoff Longstaff from Surrey and Sussex Roads Policing Unit, said: "This incident happened at busy school pick-up time and I know there are a number of people who would have witnessed what happened."

Surrey Police is urging anybody with information to get in touch.
