Man admits £1.5m Epsom haulage yard arson

A man has admitted two counts of arson which caused damage put at £1.5m to lorries in a Surrey haulage yard.

Ten vehicles parked at Penwarden Haulage in College Road, Epsom, were damaged, nine beyond repair, when a fire started on 3 October last year.

Carl Richardson, 35, of no fixed address, admitted the charges at Kingston Crown Court.

He was remanded in custody until his sentencing at the same court on 14 April.
