Redhill man charged over scooter stabbing

A man has been charged after another man was stabbed during an attempted robbery by a scooter rider.

The victim, in his 20s, was attacked when he refused to give his mobile phone to a man in St Anne's Drive, Redhill, on 10 December.

He was treated at hospital for not life-threatening injuries and released.

A 21-year-old man from Redhill has been charged with grievous bodily harm. He is expected to appear at Guildford Crown Court in the new year.
