Masked robbers tie up shop workers at Surrey store

Three shop workers were tied up by a gang of masked robbers at a convenience store in Surrey.

The robbery happened at the One Stop shop on Cross Road, Tadworth, on Sunday at about 07:00 BST.

During the incident, three members of staff, one woman and two men, were tied up with one of the men assaulted, but not seriously injured.

The offenders made off with cash and cigarettes. All three were wearing dark coloured hoodies and tracksuit bottoms.

Officers are also appealing for an elderly woman who went into the shop about the time of the robbery to come forward with information.
