Fourth person arrested over Guildford car park attack

A fourth person has been arrested after a man was found in a Guildford car park with serious facial injuries.

The man, in his 40s, was found by a security guard in York Road in the early hours of Saturday with a broken jaw and suspected fractured eye socket.

Surrey Police said he was still recovering in hospital after having surgery on his injuries.

A 31-year-old man from Woking was arrested in connection with the attack and bailed until 6 September.

A 22-year-old woman, a man aged 33 and a 36-year-old man were arrested earlier in the week on suspicion of assault and also released on police bail.
