Surrey pubs fined for selling to underage drinkers

Published

Two pubs and a shop in Surrey have been fined £80 each for selling alcohol to underage drinkers.

The fixed penalty notices were issued in Surrey Heath following a test purchasing operation by police, trading standards and the borough council.

Licensing officer Rob Carnie said: "Poorly run premises often have a negative impact on a community."

A Camberley newsagent will also be interviewed by trading standards following the operation.
