Owner of 'stolen' knight's armour sought by Suffolk Police

Medieval re-enactors are being asked to check their wardrobes after several items of apparently stolen clothing and accessories were found.

They were discovered by a member of the public at a water treatment works on Sproughton Road in Ipswich at about 12:15 GMT on Monday.

A chainmail shirt and hat were among the items found.

Anyone missing any protective body armour has been asked to get in touch with Suffolk Police.
