One dead in A14 Suffolk car and lorry fire crash

A man has died after the vehicle he was in caught fire following a collision between a car and a lorry.

The accident happened on the A14 at Creeting St Mary, Suffolk, at about 19:15 GMT on Friday.

Both the car and lorry caught fire, and the man, believed to have been the driver of the car, died at the scene, police said.

The westbound carriageway close to the A140 Beacon Hill junction was closed until about 03:00.
