Attempted murder arrest after Ipswich stabbing

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was stabbed and left with life-threatening injuries.

Suffolk Police were called to Prospect Street in Ipswich at 22:40 BST on Friday by the ambulance service after the stabbing.

A 29-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested shortly afterwards and is being questioned by officers.

The victim is being treated in hospital.
