Martlesham Heath death: Scott Ellis denies murder

A man has pleaded not guilty to murdering a 39-year-old woman who was found dead at her Suffolk home.

Scott Ellis, 42, of Tunstall Green, near Woodbridge, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court.

Jane Bartholomew's body was discovered at her house in Martlesham Heath on 13 June. A post-mortem examination revealed she died of head injuries.

Mr Ellis was remanded back in custody and his trial is due to start on 1 December.
