A man is to be charged with driving while drunk after a sports car became embedded in the side of a house in Suffolk, police have said.

Lewis Richardson, 22, of Pakefield, suffered serious injuries when the Audi TT crashed in Carlton Colville, Lowestoft, on 24 March.

Three people in the house were unhurt.

Mr Richardson has been summonsed to appear before magistrates in Lowestoft in October, when he will also face a charge of careless driving.
