Suffolk horse rider airlifted to hospital after fall

A teenage girl has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after suffering a head injury in a fall from her horse in Suffolk.

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAS) was called to the incident at Wenham, near Ipswich, at 11:00 BST.

After treatment at the scene, the girl was then flown to Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge, by an East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The girl's condition was described as serious.
