Three charged with robbery which left woman with broken arm

Three men have been charged following a robbery in Mildenhall, Suffolk, on Saturday night which left a 76-year-old woman with a broken arm.

Derek McCray, 22, of Heath Road, Brandon, Bjorn Grahn, 20, of Riverside Close, Mildenhall, and Sean Woods, 21, of Girton Close, Mildenhall were charged with robbery.

Mr Grahn was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

They are remanded in custody and are due at Ipswich Crown Court on 22 March.

The woman also sustained head and facial injuries during the theft of her handbag, which took place on Kingsway at approximately 22:45 GMT on Saturday.

Mr Woods has also been charged with two counts of theft from persons, relating to separate incidents in Mildenhall on 18 and 23 February 2012.
