More time to quiz murder suspects after Ipswich death

Murder inquiry detectives have been given more time to question two men and one woman in connection with the death of a 36-year-old woman in Ipswich.

Alison Studd, 36, of Pauline Street, Ipswich, was found critically injured in Withipoll Street, Ipswich, on Wednesday evening.

She died in hospital on Thursday and a post mortem examination gave blood loss from a leg wound as the cause.

Police have an extra 36 hours to question the three.

South East Suffolk Magistrates' Court authorised an extension for police to continue questioning the two men, aged 28 and 29, and a 59-year-old woman.

Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who was in the area of Withipoll Street, Ipswich, between 1900 and 2000 GMT on Wednesday.
