Motorist dies in crash with lorry on Suffolk road

A motorist has been killed in a collision between her vehicle and a lorry on a main road in Suffolk.

The 58-year-old woman was trapped in her Vauxhall car and died at the scene. The driver of the heavy goods vehicle was uninjured.

The A1095 was closed in both directions after the accident on the Wolsey Bridge between Blythburgh and Reydon.

Police said there was a large diesel spillage which needed to be cleared before the road could be reopened.

The accident took place at about 1300 GMT.
