Inquiry into second fire at Lowestoft hotel hit

Police and fire officers are investigating the cause of a second fire in a week at a hotel in Suffolk.

Emergency services were called to the Sunrise Inn in Corton Road, Lowestoft, at 0628 GMT on Friday.

A section of roof has collapsed but most of the building has been saved.

A fire broke out at the premises early on Sunday morning, causing extensive damage, and shortly afterwards a burglary is believed to have taken place.
