Pedestrian dies in A14 collision

A pedestrian has been killed in a crash on the A14 in Suffolk.

The man was struck by a car on a slip road leading to the eastbound carriageway, near the Haughley junction.

The victim, who is yet to be named but is believed to be in his 20s, died at the scene at about 0010 BST.

The driver of a blue Peugeot 206 was uninjured but treated for shock. Anyone with information is asked to contact Suffolk Police.
