A man has been jailed for six years after a haul of cocaine with an estimated street value of almost £5m was found in his car on the M6.

Voicu Razvan Florea, 31, from Harrow, London, admitted one count of possession with intent to supply a class A drug at Chester Crown Court.

He was stopped on the motorway near Crewe in April and 16 blocks of cocaine were found in a suitcase.

Cheshire Police said it was a routine stop by officers.
