Man suffers 'life-changing' injuries in Stoke attack

A man is in hospital with "life-changing injuries" after he was attacked in Stoke-on-Trent.

Staffordshire Police cordoned off the junction between Boughey Road and Conway Street, in Shelton, at about 03:00 GMT on Saturday.

Four men were arrested nearby and have been bailed pending further inquiries.

Officers said the man's injuries were not life-threatening but were life-changing; they have appealed for information.
